A little about how Saw Chocolate came to be. The story began after studying patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu London, a wonderful introduction to everything sweet and how to do it well. From the whole host of choices it was chocolate that stole my heart. I love that you can get so much flavour into such a small thing and then hand decorate and wrap it, there's a beginning to end process in this that I really enjoy.

I spent many hours at home researching, brainstorming and working on ideas  and perfecting my recipes. I hadn't quite decided on how I was going to sell it but that didn't seem like the important thing, but maybe that's just the maker in me.

One day I happened to be walking past a shop near my home in Walthamstow, London that was up for rent. I peered in and it was the perfect size and location so on a whim, I called the number and 3 days later… I had a lease!

I opened the doors to the SAW Chocolate shop in 2015 and it’s been an absolute joy so far. It’s been fantastic to be part of the local community, getting to know all my customers and receiving feedback in real time on my products.

Chocolate is my all day, every day. It’s a small thing but it makes a big impact and has such an emotional connection with people, which makes my job a really happy, fulfilling thing to do. I’m so pleased to now share it with you online, so you can get a little bit of Saw Chocolate joy wherever you are.
